Using Augmentin may increase your risk of developing an ovarian cyst. Talk with your doctor about your specific risk.
Augmentin has not been studied in pregnant women. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or if you become pregnant while using this medicine.
It is not known whether Augmentin passes into breast milk or if it could harm a nursing baby. Tell your doctor you are breastfeeding before using Augmentin. Augmentin is not approved for use by anyone younger than 12 years old.
How should I take Augmentin?
Take Augmentin exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Follow all directions on your prescription label. Your doctor may occasionally change your dose to make sure you get the best results. Do not use this medicine in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended. Shake the oral suspension (liquid) before you measure a dose.
